Last week was a rather busy week. We had collection of the items ordered for personal selling. The queueing time alone takes around 1 hour (I heard that some people waited for 2 hours).

Luckily for me, i was able to distribute most of the orders out that day, thanks to the cooperation of the “customers”. Oh! And also, I would like to thank everyone who has supported my sales! Greatly appreciated! ^_^

Met up with Lim hsi hong on the same day of collection after I moved the remaining uncollected items back to my home.  Very grateful towards her also, as she alone (with her sis and mum) bought 4kg of Ba Gua.

Thus, as usual, we met up at parkway and had our dinner, didn’t walk around parkway for very long, as most of the time was spent on waiting for Hsihong to finish her food. *haha*

A pity that Jiawen wasn’t there, hope we can really meet up soon ya? Then we can share our gossips of our common “victims”. Its really a pity that Jiawen can’t go, as she is always the supplier of MOST of the gossips.

ORCHESTRA

Had open house performance, the sound check was ridiculous, the crews wasted so much time! They are hired by the school, yet they showed such poor working attitude. Playing with one another, having dinner and refusing to start the sound check and even showed attitude to our instructor! Hope they are never hired again!

The open house performance itself was good though =)

Oh NYPCO is now playing some “new” repetoires, quite interesting songs i would say, and we would be playing the whole of  TIAN WANG! Jiayou Thor Jiawen and Daniel Tan in your Solos! For once, i can proudly say, “Its great to be in Gao Hu!” =)

This wednesday would be the “last” practice before study break, hopefully everyone would come for practice!!~

Its the 4th week of my ELDC life. Don’t really like it there though, my colleagues are nice, but just don’t like the life there. Its like “Not here not there”. I really hope can quickly change from afternoon shift to morning shift, so that I will have time to do my own stuffs!

Wahaha, Coconuts is back! 

My 9-5.30 days are over at call centre. Hard to believe that 9 weeks past sooo quickly! I really missed those days, where we worked hard together, gossip together, slack together! Miss my days in CRMCC!!! Though sometimes its really tiring, but still, it was lots of fun working there!

Now, I am in ELDC, supposedly, E-learning development centre. Its just “part” time shift there, working hours are shorter, but I still prefer CRMCC, as we do more interesting stuffs there. Now in ELDC we learn basic flash skills (quite boring for a person without creativity like me)!

Okay, no more “academic” stuffs here.

Today is a rather saddening day. Actually nothing much happened, Just that I received several comments from different people throughout the day.

They might treat it like a super casual comments, but I really feel bad about them. This feeling is kind of frustrating. Have been pondering over these comments the whole day, never expected that this kind of comments to come from ______.

Anyway, no use saying what the comments were, at least now I know.. =)

No Kidding!

Holidays are over and a new semester begins! I have been posted to the call center for 9 weeks before I head over to other stopover for this semester. Initially, I thought that the call center going to be super stressful and will affect my moods, but after a few days there, I realized that my “colleagues” were all nice people! Indeed, life in call centre was stressful, but I’m really glad that I am able to work with these friendly and nice people! ^_^

The first few days were the “training in progress” days. The supervisors briefed us on our tasks and how to handle some difficult customers [I still have trouble doing so] and we did role plays with one another. This is when this funny lady [Eswari] caught my attention. Eswari, acted as a super hard to handle customer, trying to find faults in everything, making everyone’s life so hard when role playing with her.

But anyway, its a lot of fun!! Especially when I was sitting beside her and trying to “handle her” over the phone, and whenever I made funny faces like rolling my eyes and laughing, and she would go:

“Excuse me! How many times must I tell you Singtel people? That I don’t want to receive any of these calls! All of you always tell me that you will escalate this back to Singtel, and why is this happening again? Hello? Why are you keeping quiet? Why are you giving that face?, I am super unhappy with your service, hello? Why are you laughing now?, I want to talk to your supervisor!”.

Admittedly, its so competitive in call centre, but I feel that the competitiveness that we are having now is a good one. What I meant is that everyone is motivated to do their best, and there are no backstabbing or what so ever. I really hope that this would continue, and hopefully everyone would get good results when we have “graduated” from call centre.

Oh by the way, we have a weekly graduation ceremony that consisting of a little slacking and photo taking session. I think our supervisors find us mad. Its just the second week, and we gone mad already!

Jiawen’s stayover at my house

Oh, I think I did mention somewhere before that Jiawen came to my house for a stayover sometime ago. She is like a hurricane like that, she can easily make my room a total mess!! Let me show you the happy times that we SHE had.

1) Made me do stupid things

We were chatting and suddenly talked about fingerprints, and she started telling me how weird her fingerprints were. Suddenly, she took a marker and colored her thumb and made a print on the paper, and asked me to do the same thing. I tried and we both “wowed” on our fingerprints. After that, we realized that, we were not able to wash off the marker ink from our thumbs! Oh my! So stupid! We had red thumbs for the whole night!

 

2) Henna

We tried playing with henna, and as Jiawen is a design student, I allowed her to try her henna skills on me. But, she tried drawing on herself first. “WAA!” She managed to draw a nice star and some designs on her hand in 1 try. I must emphasize, ONE, you know? O-N-E!!!!

When she tried with mine, the designs turn out super weird, and I had to end up running to and fro to the kitchen to wash off the design (At least four times). And she? Happily just sit inside the room laughing.

End up? I had to draw myself!

3) Clothes

She borrowed clothes from me for her pyjamas. And again, I had to accompany her to the kitchen just to switch on the lights for her. Also, she requested to try out some of my shirts, and after doing so, she just throw the clothes to my chair and started sourcing for other stuffs to do!

4) Food

Her eyes are super sharp when it comes to spotting good food. She saw a can of organic raisins on the table and requested to try. Okay, I opened the can for her to try. Must emphasis here, I OPEN FOR HER!!!! She found the raisins nice and requested to bring the food in to eat. Okay, fair enough, but end up, leaving the can of raisins lying around after she had her fill.

Oh yes! WHoa! 越说越气！She brought Tao Key Noi (Or something) to my house and knowing her eating style, I suggested that she use a bowl in case the little bits of seaweed drop onto the floor, and she 信心满满 tell me that “放心啦！不会掉的！！“. I looked at her suspiciously but end up decided to trust her…

After a few minutes, she shouted, “Eh? Why here got 一粒一粒黑黑的东西??！！”

Sure enough! She dropped the little bits of seaweed all around!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!! and I had to clear up the mess for her. She offered to clear it for me, oh well, sure she tried. Just imagine her, picking up one piece of seaweed and another piece of seaweed drop onto the floor…

Thats not all!!!!

5) Milk

She had this crave to drink the yogurt drink/Milk and brought one to my house. She told me that she wanted, and I had to go to the kitchen to help her pour. After pouring, she held up the cup with one hand, while using her other hand to reach out for the can of raisins, she spilled the milk on the table. OH MY GOODNESSSSS!!!! I had to clean the table for her, of course not forgetting to tell her how “clumsy” she is, and she started laughing and pushing the blame back to me saying, “是你！谁叫你倒那么瞒！！“ Whoa!

气死我了！

6) Television

She wanted to watch the television, thus I switched on my desktop for her to watch, But i never did expect that, I had to change channels for her too!! Whoa, she just simply said, 我不要看这个！开别的！“ and I had to 乖乖的站起来，and help her to switch channels even though she can do it by just stretching her hand and pressing a button.

With her presence, this is the condition of my room, like a pigsty.

Throughout the night, I have to be on standby, whenever she wants to visit the toilet, I will have to go switch on the lights for her, and did I mentioned that she never fails to forget to close the door? Oh my, so I have to be behind her all the time to close the sliding door for her.

Heh, even though this girl is so mafan! But its this mafan that brings me lots of fun and happy memories. Of course! Jiawen is still a great friend/YOUNGER sister to me! ^_^ So, our 6 years of friendship 就是这样建立起来的。难怪我会越来越老。

Birthday

One night before I went HK, I stayed over at Sinye’s house. They (Bernice, Sinye, Shing, Jiawen, Joyce) gave me a surprise birthday celebration! Was very very 感动 and happy to be able to celebrate my birthday with them！Thank you so much for your wishes and your 心意!! I am really touched when you girls came just to celebrate for me!! Thank you very much! Thank you for your presents too! and your “card” filled with genius de glam pictures!!

Hong Kong

I went with NYPCO went to Hong Kong to participate in their annual International Chinese Music Festival. It was a brand new experience. Although to me personally, we didn’t do well there [performance wise], but I am glad that I gained new great friends and know CO people better! Though the planning and procedures were really tiring, but overall, I really had a great experience at HK.

The first day, we went to Ocean park. Unfortunately, it rained super heavily after we had our own free time. Oh, Me, Bernice and Jiawen had our memorable fall that day! I shall not elaborate this “embarrassing but funny” incident. But I was super guilty to had caused the both of them to fall!! So sorry Jiawen and Bernice!

It was a bad start of our trip, as everyone was drenched and tired. [Super tired!]

We went HK disneyland to perform and got free admission there for the whole day! So lucky indeed! The day was enjoyable and during the honeypot ride, Yueling, Cheryl, Bernice and I did a super funny thing! Initially, we had to pose for the camera to take a nice group photo of us and we can purchase the photo if we wanted to, but end up, this is the pose we had

After that, the whole group of us went to watch the 3D movie, it was really exciting! Highly recommended! ^_^

The next few days, besides the performances, we went for shopping almost everyday! Nu Ren Jie, Miao Jie were like our heaven. Too bad Muthu had her rehearsals with HKCO during one of the days, the rest of us had our free time! Woo!

Initially, Me and Yuyue were room mates, but we ended up 分头走. I ended up going to 1510 [Muthu Shing and her wife's room] every night to camp there. I really enjoyed my times with these crazy girls! So many funny things happened! These memories will really be kept in my heart forever. I really miss the days I had with these two girls. They really will never fail in cheering me up! Also, I really miss the times where little juniors like Gong Gong, Gui Fei Ji, Bui Eh, Queen of coldness etc run here and there, making the atmosphere more lively!! 

In short, I MISS HK!!!
